Earlier flowering in Europe

The 385 plants studied on the British Isles blossomed an average of 4.5 days earlier between 1991 and 2000 when compared with the period 1954-1990, with the greatest change being a shocking 55 days! Based on several different studies, natural phenomena began generally 2-28 days earlier in 20th-century Europe.
